Distance Learning & Tuition
Online Computing Education as unique as you.
Enrolment is now open for September 2024
What are lessons like?
Most of my courses can be completed live online with me, or as a self-paced recorded course.
The only thing you’ll need to access live lessons is a web browser, internet connection, and Zoom account (a microphone & webcam helps too!).
My students communicate in the way that makes them feel most comfortable. This may be with cameras on or off, verbally or through text.
All lessons are supported by online content including videos, activities, and quizzes to help you understand each concept.
Each lesson uses a set of specially developed notes to make sure that nothing is missed!
For an example of one of my lessons, watch the lesson recording below:
Meet Your Tutor
Holly is a qualified Computer Science teacher and home educator. She founded TeachAllAboutIt in 2017 and continues to support learners from KS3 to A Level in Computer Science and Games Design.
Alongside tuition, Holly is also an author, university lecturer, and subject specialist for Computer Science.
She holds both a standard PGCE and PGCoE which specialises in online teaching. Holly is currently continuing her post graduate studies in online education.
As places are limited on TeachAllAboutIt courses and tuition, I strongly advise that you enrol as early as possible. This is particularly important where your child has SEN so that I can ensure everything is in place to support you.
All taught courses enrol each year with a deposit to secure your place.
Are you a currently enrolled learner? Refer another student for a taught group class & receive a free week once their deposit is paid!*

Frequently Asked Questions
Before enrolling, please read my Tuition Terms & Conditions and the Student Welcome Pack.
Is an iGCSE different to a GCSE?
The i in iGCSE stands for International. iGCSE qualifications are equivalent in almost every way to GCSE qualifications, but are not overseen by the UK’s JQC board. This means that state schools are often unable to offer them as exams, but they are a popular option for independent schools.
Are iGCSEs easier than GCSEs?
Academically, no. You will require the same time (120 hours) and study depth for both qualifications. iGCSE qualifications are often easier to access for home educated learners and private candidates as they generally do not include coursework.
How Do I Book Exams?
As I am not an exam centre, I cannot book exams for you. Unfortunately, there is no national list of exam centres that offer private candidates spaces, but the Home Education Wiki keeps a list updated by users of centres that have helped home educators.
If you intend to book your exams through Tutors & Exams, please select the “partner rate” for fees and use the partner code provided in your course.
