Welcome to Unit 1 of my KS3 Computing self-paced units! Scroll down to open your lessons for the course.

Each topic is run as a 5 week “half term” with topic videos, assignments, and practical work.

This Pre-GCSE / KS3 Computing course allows your child to follow a unit of study based around the latest British computing curriculum, informed by the National Centre for Computing Education. Students learn using a set of recorded lessons, practical activities, and written assignments.

Pre-GCSE units are aimed at learners aged 11 – 14 who have an interest in studying Computer Science or Games Design at a later date. Each class is designed & supported by a qualified Computer Science teacher & home educator (Holly Billinghurst) who specializes in distance learning for Computer Science.

If you would prefer to study these topics by joining our live lessons, a small group class option is available to join separately through our online courses.

Courses remain available for one year of study allowing you to take your time with study and returning to topics as you move through your home education journey.
